The Mozilla Activate portal promotes campaigns and opportunities for contribution to activites that promote Mozilla's mission. Aimed toward the global audience of Mozillians, the portal informs them about major one-off campaigns as well as permanent or recurring activities aim to strengthen the communities' bonds and provide meaningful contribution opportunities.
The platform was designed by Kaktus, with our team responsible for implementing the portal on React.
Campanigns & Activities
The Campaigns are major one-off activities with a particular timeframe and community goal. While a campaign is running, the portal is structured in such a way as to promote it heavily. During the periods where no campaign is active, the campains section serves as an archive of past campaigns.
The Activities section presents multiple activities that can be run at any time, without the involvement of Mozilla. The content is primarily aimed towards members of open source communities or similar groups. Each activity provides supporting material that the communities can use to run each such event effectively and with minimum preparation effort.
