Project
Delavalle is an international wine company, with the mission to introduce european wines to east Asia. The Delavalle wines are produced in three wineries in Italy, France and Greece and are made available in a wide range of stores in vast China.
We were tasked with designing and developing an impressive company presentation website, that should communicate both the particular characteristics of each wine, as well as the characteristics of the different origin countries to the asian market.
The website's content strategy and communication concept were designed in collaboration with the marketing and communication company Ambigram.
Design
Each of the three main wine categories comes from a different land. We chose to let the origin country and the name of each wine guide the design inspiration, arriving at three different presentation atmospheres. The wine bottles are the visual protagonists of the layouts, surrounded by branding elements and specially chosen photography that communicate the unique characteristics of the countries to an international audience that may not be intimately familiar with european tradition and history.
Illustration
For the italian wine series 8 Leoni, we are transferred to a magic summer night in the medieval italian countryside. In collaboration with artist Haroula Adamopoulou, we created an illustration based on the italian manuscript approach, that we then converted to an animation.
