Project
The luxury villas complex Olympus Villas is located in south Pieria, at the foot of the Olympus mountain. Each villa is located by the beach and offers a private pool, combining the blue colors of the sky and sea with the natural greens of the private garden and surrounding ambience.
Olympus Villas commissioned us to redesign and develop their website, aiming to establish a web presence comparable to the quality experience offered to their guests.
OUR APPROACH
In the tourism industry, images are dominant. We combined professional photography and video, produced especially for the needs of the website, allowing the visuals to tickle the senses of the visitors. Each villa presentation describes the available facilities and services, also offering floorplans so that the visitors can organize their stay. The available local destinations complete the traveler experience, offering valuable guidance to guests.
Navigation
Each section of the website is color-coded as well as accompanied by a characteristic animated illustration, revealed in the navigation menu.
Typography
Illustration
Several illustrations accompany the text content, offering a unique character to the website. The animations of the sketches during navigation offer a sense of exploration. The illustrations were designed by Giannis Orkopoulos.
Awards & Distinctions
The website was awarded Site of the Day in the CSS Awards, CSS Winner and Mindsparkle Mag, Winner of the Day in CSS Reel and Featured of the Day in the CSS Light. It got Special Kudos in the CSS Design Awards, a Honorable Mention in Awwwards and have been featured in web design awards.
